The attention to detail at this resort is simply astounding. From the serene outdoor swimming pool to the stunning ambiance of the garden area, every moment felt like pure bliss. The Balinese Gazebo was a perfect retreat, blending comfort with nature beautifully.

All good, fulfills its purpose. The surrounding gardens are beautifully maintained and provide an excellent atmosphere for relaxation.

I absolutely loved my stay, especially enjoying the luxurious hot shower and the generous breakfast with a delightful French touch. Relaxing by the two inviting swimming pools while soaking up the sun was the highlight of my day. Just a heads-up, you’ll need to drive a bit to find restaurants, but they have great facilities if you want to cook yourself. ☀️

Had an amazing time with friends! We enjoyed the spacious balconies with gorgeous views and loved spotting wildlife like monkeys and birds. Thomas, our host, provided excellent coffee and breakfast every morning. We also visited nearby beaches and explored local hikes, keeping our days full of fun activities.

The remote location had limited dining options, so plan accordingly for meals outside of the hotel.

The villa was beautifully laid out. loved the lush gardens and two refreshing pools. Breakfast was delightful, especially the homemade jam. Thomas's hospitality made our stay so special. his local insights were invaluable.

Great fit for getting around area in Tambor with great value for the money. Thomas makes the best coffee in the morning and it sets a nice tone for the day. Bring some bananas to enjoy breakfast with the local wildlife that often visits.

However, the remote location meant limited dining options nearby, and while the facilities were great, clearer directions to attractions would have enhanced our experience. The shower could also use a bit more pressure for an ideal relaxation.

lodge margouillat was perfect for our getaway! the grounds are stunning and so private, with two clean pools and beautiful views of the jungle. we loved the peaceful ambiance and howler monkeys that entertained us right from our patio. thomas’s outstanding service made everything easier. you must try the soft sheets on the bed!
